Jane has over two decades of experience as a family litigator, accredited mediator, parenting coordinator, and child welfare advocate. Her practice focuses on helping families navigate complex transitions with clarity, empathy, and constructive dispute resolution.
Jane’s background includes high-conflict family law, parenting coordination, appellate advocacy and complex child protection litigation under the Child, Youth and Family Services Act. As a panel member for the Office of the Children’s Lawyer and former Senior Legal Counsel for regional and Indigenous child well-being agencies, she brings significant expertise to matters involving children, youth, First Nations, and customary caregivers across Ontario.
A Certified Specialist in both Family Mediation and Parenting Coordination, Jane prioritizes out-of-court solutions using custom dispute resolution design. She holds degrees in Social Work and Law, grounding her practice in practical, trauma-informed, and child-centered resolutions.
