Ann Logan, LLB
Ann Logan has over ten years experience in family law.
Ann has practiced in family court in Cobourg, Oshawa and Peterborough, advocating on her clients’ behalf through the court to secure a resolution in all areas of dispute including custody and access, child support, spousal support and division of property.
Ann provides alternative dispute services such as 4-way meetings to assist her clients in arriving at a negotiated separation agreement.
She is qualified in collaborative law and a member of the Kawartha Collaborative Practice serving Cobourg, Lindsay and Peterborough.
Ann will be pleased to assist you in preparing a marriage contract or cohabitation agreement to protect you and your assets should your relationship break down in the years ahead.
Ann helps guide unrepresented family law parties through her services as duty counsel at Cobourg Family Court.
Ann was honoured to serve on the board of directors of the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation from 2006, culminating in her role as chair of the board from 2011 – 2013.
Ann is currently a community member of the Northumberland Hills Hospital Board of Directors. She serves on the Governance and Quality and Safety committees.
Stefanie Rudd, B Comm, JD
Stefanie Rudd graduated from Queen’s University Law School and completed her Articles under Ann’s supervision before joining the firm as an Associate. Ms. Rudd is now a Partner with Third Street Law.
Stefanie has accumulated a wealth of unique management experience, largely in the hospitality industry.
Stefanie has managed events with hundreds of guests and dozens of vendors, as well as businesses with multi-millon dollar revenues.
She is comfortable in high pressure situations and has demonstrated a talent for assessing problems with competing priorities while identifying and negotiating solutions.
Her experience in business is an advantage that provides a greater understanding of a client’s perspective.
Stefanie recently returned to her hometown of Cobourg after living and working in Toronto and Montreal for more than a decade.
Stefanie is a member of the Cobourg Rotary Club, President of the Rebound Child & Youth Services Board of Directors, and Vice-Chair of the Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre Board of Directors.
Stefanie is also a trained family law mediator.
